The Limo Experience

The little girls got the opportunity to take a ride in a limo. Marie had to sell 10 magazine subscriptions for a school fund raiser. Now I have to state right here that usually I am not one of those parents who really tries to sell things to get the "coveted promised prize" for selling so much stuff (you know, the stuff that breaks the second you try it out) but I had decided that magazine subscriptions weren't too difficult and Marie was so excited about the possibility of a limo ride.

I wanted 3 subscriptions myself and Grandma Higley wanted 3 as well, so we were over half-way there. I took the paper to school and two of my teacher friends were kind enough to help us out. Mindy and Jessica finished it out, and we ended up selling 12 subscriptions, which meant that Marie got to invite a friend to go with her...of course this meant she had to invite Valerie. The girls went with the other qualified students in the same car, and they went to Pizzaria. They had a great time, and need less to say, the fund raiser was a big success.
