This week Dale had a business trip in Atlanta. Since it was our final week before school starts, I wanted to take a little trip of my own. I decided that it would be great to go to the Shakespeare Festival in Cedar City. I suggested the idea to my children and Valerie and Jordan were anxious to go, but Marie didn't really want to go. She wanted to stay home with Jessica, who opted out this time because she had been to Cedar City earlier this year. I felt really guilty about leaving Marie home, but she didn't want to come. I even offered again just before we left, but she said the plays would be boring. Quite frankly I didn't really think she would like the plays, but I thought she would like the swimming at the hotel. I told her she didn't have to go to the plays, but she wanted to stay home with Jessica and Emma (her bestest friend in the whole world). So Valerie, Jordan and I went to Cedar City on our own mini vacation. Valerie and I saw "Great Expectations" and the three of us saw "Much Ado About Nothing." We enjoyed both plays very much. They were well done as always at the Shakespeare Festival.

Our trip included a trip to St. George to shop in the outlet stores. Always a favorite thing to do, but after shopping for pretty much my entire wardrobe at Ross, even the outlet stores seem overpriced, so we didn't buy a whole lot. We did find an awsome store called Del Sol and bought this really stellar fingernail polish that changes color in the sun, from silver to red. We also bought bright colored sneaks at Rue 21 for Jessica (her old ones are well loved). Jordan then went to the movie, while Valerie and I went to the mall and ate lunch and then we ended up back at Ross (I love that store) to buy my "back to school" wardrobe...Our vacation felt complete. We had a great time and made some fun memories too.
